Lemtek UI had been appointed by PT PLN (Persero) to conduct a study of logistic and gas infrastructure management implementation in PT. PLN (Persero). The objectives of this study are to propose the best and approriate of PLN business strategy in gas for electricity management and to recommend the staging of business strategy implementation. Contract had been signed on 15 June 2016 between Mrs Chairani Rachmatullah as Head of Gas and Fuel Oil Division PT PLN (Persero) and Prod Dr Bambang Sugiarto as Director of Lemtek UI. Lemtek UI study team consisted of Prof Dr Widodo Wahyu Purwanto and Prof Sutrasno Kartohardjono PhD (Chemical Engineering UI), Dr Akhmad Hidayatno and Armand Omar Moeis, MSc (Industrial Engineering UI), Parulian Aritonang LLM (Faculty of Law UI), Zuliani Dalimunthe MSM (Faculty of Economic and Business UI).

Fast-breaking event was hold by Lemtek UI on 17 June 2016 in Acacia Hotel Jakarta. The event was attended by the Director, all managers and staffs of Lemtek UI. Among the guests were Dean, Vice Dean, Venture Manager of FTUI, Director of Education UI, Director of Students Affair UI and also the team member of Shell Eco Marathon (SEM) UI 2016.

PT. Karya Citra Nusantara (joint venture company between PT. (Persero) Kawasan Berikat Nusantara and PT. Karya Teknik Utama) as a port operator company at Marunda Port in North Jakarta, has appointed Lemtek UI to develop concession document (feasibility study) of KCN general port at Marunda that will be proposed to Ministry of Transportation. This concession based on Indonesian Government Regulation Number 64/2015 about Port Concerning and the proposed concession duration is 70 years.

Lemtek UI has been appointed by PT. Jakarta Akses Tol Priok to carry out the traffic study on Tanjung Priok Toll Road. This study will be conducted by UI transportation team and led by Dr Tri Tjahyono for 3 months.

Lemtek UI in cooperation with Pusbindiklatren Bappenas held Training of Project Assessment. The event start on 16 May 2016 until 27 May 2016 and conducted at the Lemtek UI training center. The participants are staffs of local governments from several cities/counties and provinces in Indonesia

Lemtek UI was invited by the Governor of Jambi (Mr. Zumi Zola, S.TP, MA) to present the concept of integrated development of open green space on several potential sites in the city of Jambi. The presentation was conducted in Jambi provincial government representative office in Jakarta and attended by the Governor and several Heads of SKPD of Jambi provincial government.

Lemtek UI hold a Family Gathering in Jayakarta Hotel - Anyer Beach Banten on 15-16 April 2016, attended by the director, all of managers and employees with their families. This event was attended also by the Dean, Vice Dean for Resources, Venture and General Administration and Associate Dean for Cooperation, Student Affairs, Alumni & Venture of Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia.

Lemtek UI through PT. Lemtek Konsultan Indonesia has a contract with PT. Freeport Indonesia that had been signed a year ago and will be terminated on 31 March 2016. Lemtek had been performing consulting services including study, survey, planning and engineering design services of infrastructure facilities such as river & drainage system, road & bridge, and water supply to support PTFI Municipal Department at high land area in Tembagapura Papua. Lemtek team consists of Ir. Ahmad Achdiana as Team Leader, Ir. Taufik Nurachman as Co Team Leader, Gary Adam MT, David Siahaan ST, Junaedi Sidiq ST and Bambang Warudju had been deployed in Tembagapura to conduct the services since May 2015. The team is also supported by some experts from Lemtek Head Office in Jakarta.

Lemtek UI was appointed by PT Medco E&P Malaka to provide engineering services for infrastructure of Alur Siwah Central Processing Station (AS-CPP) at Langsa district in East Aceh. It will be designed to produce gas with associated condensate and produced water, which will be transported to PT Pertamina via Pertagas pipeline. The works including earthwork and elevation assesment and slope protection design, slope analysis and grading plan of ROW pipeline and flowline design, and lagoon design study. Toha Saleh MSc as hydraulic engineer and Erly Bahsan Mkom as geotechnical engineer from Civil Engineering Department University of Indonesia were involved in this project.

A Doctoral degree was awarded by Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia to Mr. Wisnu Isvara from Civil Engineering Department FTUI. He presented the dissertation entitled “Cost Estimation Modeling of Building Construction on Schematic Design Stage Using Regression Analysis and Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System Methods” during his Doctoral Inauguration which took place on 7 January 2016 in the Chevron Room, FTUI Building. Acting as Head of Examiner Committee was Prof. Dr. Dedi Priadi as the Dean of FTUI, with Prof. Dr. Yusuf Latief as Promotor; and Prof. Dr-Ing Andreas Wibowo as Co-Promotor. Examiner Committee included Prof. Chaidir Anwar Makarim PhD, Prof. Krishna Mochtar PhD, Prof. Widjojo Adi Prakoso PhD, Mohammed Ali Berawi PhD and Ayomi Dita Rarasati PhD.
