Study and Design of Capacity Improvement of Apron B With Cakar Ayam System in Juanda Airport

Lemtek UI has been appointed by PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) to carry out the study and design capacity improvement of Apron B With "Cakar Ayam System" in Terminal 2 of Juanda Airport. The apron was buid on 1979 and for the last five years was used for taxiing and parking of wide body aircrafts. The scope of works of study are to conduct the detailed survey and study of the existing apron, and to make detailed engineeering design of revitalization and improvement of the apron so the Pavement Capacity Number (PCN) will be adequate and exceeds the Aircraft Calssification Number (ACN) of the Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) of the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. On 16 November 2017, the kick off meeting was held at PT AP 1 Juanda Airport Branch Office. The meeting was attended by PT AP 1 Team represented by Ir Dwi Tedjowati as Facility Readiness Group Head, Ir Maya Damayanti as Fascility Airside Readines Department Head, and several senior officers from PT AP1. From Lemtek UI was represented by Dr Wisnu Isvara as General Manager, Rully Andhika MT as Project Leader, Prof Bambang Suhendro PhD as Structural and Pavement Expert, Prof Dr Hary Christady Hardiyatmo as Geotechnical Expert, Wardhani Sartono MSc as Airport Expert, Heri Khoeri MT as Survey Coordinator and Fineshia Sevita MT as Project Control Engineer. After kick off meeting then followed by site visit to the apron B. The works will be carried out for 6 months.
