In order to enhance public services and to realize Kemayoran as a modern, integrated, green, clean, safe, and competitive Smart City—supported by world-class infrastructure and sustainable open spaces—PPK Kemayoran invited Lemtek UI to a meeting to discuss plans for the development of accessibility infrastructure and lighting design within the Kemayoran area.
The meeting was attended by representatives of PPK Kemayoran, including Ir. Biwodotomo Witoradyo, Director of Planning and Development; Dr. Ahmad Jaka Santos, MH, Senior Advisor; as well as several expert staff, division heads, and other PPK Kemayoran personnel. The meeting was held in the main meeting room on the 6th floor of the PPK Kemayoran office. During the discussion, Lemtek UI and Pavilion95 presented ideas to position the Kemayoran area as a center of Betawi cultural strength and a reflection of civilizational progress. This vision is proposed to be realized through the development of pedestrian accessibility, including several highly iconic pedestrian bridge concepts, as well as distinctive and aesthetically appealing lighting design, with a particular focus on the area surrounding Jalan Benyamin Sueb, Kemayoran.
The outcomes of this discussion are expected to serve as initial concepts that will be further reviewed, developed, and designed in greater detail in the coming year, with the ultimate goal of proceeding to construction in accordance with the shared vision.
